Luis is an Investment Director and a member of the Healthcare investment team. He joined Bridgepoint in 2006 and has extensive experience, both on the buyside and the advisory side across industries and geographies.
At Bridgepoint he has been involved in the acquisition and funding of several leading European businesses spanning across a number of sectors and geographies. Most recent transactional experience includes the acquisition and funding of Care UK and SPTS.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, he worked at Salomon Smith Barney, Goldman Sachs and GE's European Corporate Business Development team.
Luis holds a Licenciatura (MSc equivalent) from the Catholic University in Lisbon, an MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD and was awarded the CFA charter. He is fluent in English, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
